Love, Happiness, Laughter, are some key feelings surrounding this beautiful intimate event! Lana and Alex hosted a private little party at their home and invited their family to witness their love. Candlelight, flowers and warm were the theme surrounding the event, Lana did a wonderful job putting all the small details together, it was a stunning atmosphere to be part of. Being commissioned for a family session is a great honor. It becomes a greater honor when you are bringing a family together. The Shultz decided they wanted to treasure the moment of their two adorable grandchildren with a generations session. To make the session fun and interactive for the two little boys we decided to have the setting at their estate home. Their garden was a beautiful backdrop for a casual lifestyle session. By far this is my favorite time of year. I love color and seeing it all around me makes me happy! Mihkel and I took a drive to Ottawa to see family this past weekend. We could not resist a drive out to Gatineau Park and indulge in the true beauty of Fall.

Little baby C is due to arrive this week and I am anxiously awaiting to meet him. These two images were captured at 34 weeks and his mother's glow was absolutely breathtaking. I feel truly blessed to be able to experience with my clients this beautiful moment in their life. Suzie and I have become great friends over the years as I've had the privilege to be both their wedding and family photographer! Thank you both for entrusting me with your memories.

the holidays have arrived

I love this time of year! As the season changes everyone begins to prepare for the approaching holidays. First there is Thanksgiving and then Christmas follows a short while after. For me its the time of year to remind my clients that now is the time to have your wedding images submitted for albums and portrait sessions booked for holiday greeting cards.

That being said, the holiday deadline this year is as follows:
- albums - October 31 2009
- prints and greeting cards - November 15 2009

To my portrait clients, I have only two days available in October for sessions and a small opening in the beginning of November. Please contact me soon if you are interested! The holiday card sessions are priced at $125 plus tax. You receive a 20 minute mini session, location of choice, a set of 24 holiday cards.
